No Personal Data Collected
Subby does not collect or store personal or subscription data on external servers. Information about your subscriptions is stored locally on your device and remains under your control.
Gmail Access and Permissions
Subby optionally allows users to connect their Gmail account to help discover subscription services automatically.
When this feature is used, Subby accesses limited email information from messages that may represent subscription services. This may include sender information, subject line, and message snippets needed to identify subscription-related emails.
This information is used only to detect potential subscriptions and display them inside the app for the user to review and optionally add to their subscription list.
Subby processes this information for the subscription discovery feature and does not store Gmail data on external servers.
Users can revoke Gmail access at any time through their Google Account permissions.
Subby does not sell or share Gmail data with third parties, and does not use Gmail data for advertising.
Internet Usage
Subby works fully offline by default. The app only uses the internet in limited situations such as updating currency exchange rates, fetching brand information or logos for recognized services, or processing Subby Plus purchases.
These requests do not upload or store user subscription data on external servers.
